Is NexxPOS really free?
Yes. There are no monthly software fees, no setup costs, and no lock-in contracts. The only cost is a small transaction fee each time you process a payment. Nothing else.
What Android devices does NexxPOS work on?
NexxPOS runs on any NFC-enabled Android phone, tablet, or ECR. If it runs Android 14+ and has NFC, you're ready to go. No specific hardware required.
Do I need to buy any hardware to get started?
No. If you already have an Android device, you can start today. NexxPOS also supports ESC/POS receipt printers and Kitchen Display Systems if you need them, but neither is required.
How does tap-to-pay work?
Tap-to-pay is built directly into NexxPOS. When your customer is ready to pay, tap Nexxtap It at checkout. Your device's NFC reader handles the payment. No separate terminal, no switching apps.
Can I manage my store remotely?
Yes. The NexxPOS portal is web-based, so you can manage your products, staff, terminals, and reporting from any browser, anywhere. You don't need to be on the floor to stay in control.
Can I use NexxPOS across multiple locations?
Do I need an account with a particular bank?
Nexxtap processes and deposits every transaction into your nominated bank account. This means you have complete freedom over who you bank with!
